The main purpose of the MOLUX project – “MObile Lab for Underwater eXploration”  is to design and develop a system able to support divers during the diagnosis, recovery, management, conservation and enhancement activities of the archaeological and natural heritage in the underwater environment. The main goal is to make easier and safer all the operations, giving the divers the possibility to monitor in every moment their position into the area they are visiting, to acquire geolocated data (images, videos, notes, measures) and to follow a preset path to complete their mission. Moreover, the system allows the operators on the surface to supervise the mission and guide the divers in their work. Molux represents a real innovation and a radical change for technical and scientific divers about their work in the archaeological and naturalistic field.
