
The treasure of Hera Lacinia
The Archaeological site of Capo Colonna (Crotone) holds the remains of a sanctuary dedicated to Hera Lacinia, in particular those of a large Doric temple (Temple A) and a Thesaurus (Temple B). Indeed, during the last excavations, Archaeologists found in Temple B some votive objects, included a very valuable golden diadem. All of them are now held at the Museum of Kroton and the Museum of Capo Colonna.
