3D Research at SuperScienceMe 2025: discover the program!

On September 26th, 2025, 3D Research will take part in the European Researchers’ Night – SuperScienceMe, with a rich program of activities and projects dedicated to innovation, scientific research, and technology applied to the enhancement of cultural heritage.

The event will take place, as every year, at the University of Calabria, representing an extraordinary opportunity to bring the general public closer to the world of science through interactive experiences, demonstrations, workshops, and meetings with researchers.

During the 2025 edition of SuperScienceMe, the 3D Research team will be active within the area VR Experiences and 3D Dissemination, a space where visitors will be able to explore digital environments and directly experience virtual reality and the 3D digitization of historical and contemporary works of art.

The main highlights of this activity will be the projects Art4Sea and 3D-4CH, which promote an innovative use of technology and research for the enhancement of Cultural Heritage.

With ART4SEA, participants will be guided to discover the underwater world through informative content and engaging awareness-raising videos, designed to promote the protection of underwater heritage. The experience will culminate in a virtual dive into the Mediterranean seabed.

Through the 3D-4CH project, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the project’s objectives and observe examples of high-precision digitization up close, discovering how technology can contribute not only to conservation but also to the dissemination and valorization of our heritage.

The activity will take place on the morning of Friday, September 26th, at Aula Consolidata 43B1, Ponte Coperto – University of Calabria.

But that’s not all!

3D Research will also be present inside the Innovation Space, the showcase dedicated to innovative products and services proposed by spin-offs and startups. In this space, the projects CREAMARE, ART4SEA, BCTHubs, REEVALUATE, 3D-4CH, and Gaia will be presented, each representing a concrete example of how scientific research and emerging technologies can generate creative and sustainable solutions for culture, the environment, and society.

An unmissable opportunity to discover the potential of innovation applied to the real world.
