Archeologìo

Seriuos Game

Archeologìo is a serious game for mobile devices, developed by 3D Research for Museion Srl, which conceived it as part of an educational project aimed at promoting the Museo dei Brettii e degli Enotri in Cosenza.

The goal of Archeologìo is to allow players to carry out an archaeological excavation, with the possibility of recovering and then reconstructing some of the artifacts belonging to the museum’s collection. The serious game, created in 2014 as an innovative and interactive tool for school groups and young visitors to the Museum, is now available for free on Google Play Store and the App Store, thanks to the Museo On project co-funded by the Calabria Region! This step is key to fostering national and global outreach, with the ambition of becoming a tool for promoting and enhancing both the Museum and Italian cultural heritage in general.

Through Archeologìo, users can take on ever-new challenges, becoming active participants in the archaeological experience while learning about excavation methods and artifacts from the local area.
