The main goal of the DiveSafe project – “Integrated system for scientific and environmental underwater surveys, with advanced health & safety features” is to integrate the most innovative technologies today available into a fully-equipped underwater vehicle for underwater researchers (archaeologists, biologists, geologists etc.). It allows divers conducting the underwater exploration and the remains’ recovery and, at the same time, making environmental measurements and samplings and collecting geo-referenced video and images. The most innovative feature of the system is the constant monitoring of divers’ vital signs that makes safer and easier every underwater activity.
